| The 2006 National Tertiary Congress of the
Mmerantee-Ahemaa association has been scheduled to take place
at the University of Ghana, Legon from 2nd
to 4th March, 2007. The theme for the congress is: ENTREPRENEURSHIP,
THE ROLE OF THE TERTIARY STUDENT.
This is the third congress since its maiden edition
held at University of Cape Coast, last two years (2005).That
one was very exciting. Classmates and friends who had not seen
each other for a long time came together again. The most exciting
part was the float through the principal streets and halls
of the university and the series of ‘jama’ song
which reminded us of the old school life.
Last year’s congress which was held at
the KNUST was one of the most exciting as we had the chance
to revisit our schools, meet old friends and class mates for
the first time after so many years.
This year’s congress promises to be one
of the most exciting. This time around, it’s going to
include the Polytechnics and other tertiary institutions (aside
the universities) who were present at the previous editions.
